It can be difficult to know where to start when considering a large addition, remodel, or new construction project. The following path may be helpful if you're in the preliminary phases:
Concept > Estimate > Plan design/engineering > Bid > Permits > Build
Begin with the concept. The designers we work with can create a generalized drawing that shows the layout and flow for any given project. This will enable you to make adjustments before getting into the fine details.
Based on the concept drawings and square footages, we can provide a general estimate. This estimate will give you the opportunity to compare numbers with other contractors, and indicate if the project is in your budget.
Once you have decided to move forward, the designers will create a detailed planset with engineering specifications.
Bids are a fixed price for the scope of your project, based on site conditions and the engineered planset. When the bid is accepted we submit for building permits and your project can official break ground.
We offer free estimates and bids. Many projects are small enough to skip directly to the bid phase, but if your project is large enough to necessitate plans, concept and plan costs are typically agreed upon before drawings start.
